James McCoy, MD

Education: Dr. McCoy earned his M.D. at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1987.  He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1991.

: Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
Areas of Practice
: Broad outpatient adult practice consisting mainly of psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief crisis oriented psychotherapy.

Jean Zerby, MSW, LICSW
Location: Fridley 
Education: Rreceived her master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in adolescents and family, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Her undergraduate studies were also at South Carolina, where she majored in psychology and Sociology.

: She has been certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1995.

Joseph M. Steger, PhD, LP
Primary Office Location: Fridley
Education: Joe earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1972.
Credentialing: Licensed Psychologist
Area of practice: Outpatient assessment and therapy with individuals, couples and families. Psychological testing of children age six and up, adolescents and adults.

Karen L. King, MA, LP
Office Locations: Fridley
Education: Ms. King earned her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 1995.
Credentialing: Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice: out patient psychotherapy with individuals and children and their parents. She works with children (preferably starting at age 5), adolescents and adults.

Laura Henson, PsyDLP

Education: Dr. Henson earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver in 1990.

Area of Practice: Psychotherapy: adults - individuals, couples, conjoint, and groups; psychological assessment; and consultation. 

Mark Kerekes, MD
Office Locations: Eagan , Fridley
Education:  Dr. Kerekes completed his undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska in 1986, then earned his MD degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990.  He completed his Adult Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1995.
Credentialing:  Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Area of Practice:  Broad outpatient child and adolescent practice with special interests in sleep medicine, health psychology, and sports psychiatry.

Michael Robin, MSW, MPH
Office Location: Fridley, Eagan
Education: Michael holds a Masters of Social Work degree and a Masters of Public Health degree with a major focus on maternal and child health from the University of Minnesota.
Credentialing: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
Areas of Practice: Individual, couples and family counseling for people of all ages. Michael has more than thirty years of experience working with children, youth and families in a wide variety of settings including residential treatment, hospital based in-patient treatment, adoption, foster care, and as a medical social worker for families of children with physical, neurological and psychiatric disabilities. He has considerable experience working with non compliant and oppositional children and youth. He also works extensively with anger management skills for people of all ages.
